Professor Michael Çalıkuşu Managerial Accounting & Strategy

Michael Çalıkuşu delivers training on Managerial Accounting, Strategy and Global Strategy at Executive Education Programs, and academic programs such as MBA and Finance. He was born in Istanbul, received a JD in Law from Southern Methodist University, USA, and a BBA with Honors from Texas Wesleyan University, USA. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Certified Public Accountancy Board (CPA).  Michael teaches Strategy, M&A and Finance at Koc GSB. He has taught at graduate level at Webster University in Austria and at Kiyv Mohyla Academy in Ukraine. He is a regular speaker to leading American and European academic and business institutions.
Michael's 25 years professional experience is with leading global companies in the food, beverage and household cleaning sectors, in roles from general management, sales, finance, strategy and M&A. He led senior expatriate assignments at Kraft Foods (now Mondelez) in the CEEMEA region. Before Kraft, he held operating and headquarter roles with Reckitt-Benckiser (VP of Corporate Development), Pepsi-Cola Int'l (Director of Business Development) and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Principal Consultant) in developed and emerging countries. Michael was also a corporate trainer at Kraft Foods and a founding member of its global Finance Academy as well as a facilitator for Philip Morris, Reckitt-Benckiser and Pepsico. He lives in Istanbul and is an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Expert & Advisor for leading international transactional firms, consultancies and private equity firms.
