Assoc. Prof. Levent Koçkesen is an Associate Professor of Economics at Koç University. He teaches in Executive Education and MBA programs on topics such as Game Theory, Managerial Economics and Microeconomics.Assoc. Prof. Koçkesen’s research focuses on game theory, microeconomic theory, economics of information and contract theory, and law and economics. Prior to joining Koç in 2005, Assoc. Prof. Koçkesen worked first as an Assistant and then as an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Columbia University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University, an MA in Economics from the New School For Social Research, and a BS in Economics from the Middle East Technical University. He received the Alfred P. Sloan Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship in 1998 and several other research grants. He has published his work in many scholarly journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Theory, and Games and Economic Behavior.
