Deniz Aksen is an Associate Professor at College of College of Administrative Sciences and Economics. Deniz Aksen has been teaching at Executive Education, undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of MIS, e-commerce, Internet security, and business spreadsheet applications. Dr. Aksen has been teaching in Microsoft Office Applications in TURQUALITY, the world’s first and only governmentally-supported branding program. Besides, since 2011 he has been the counsellor for Koç University student groups attending to Google Online Marketing and Adwords Competition.
Deniz Aksen holds his BS (1994) and MS degrees (1996) from Boğaziçi University Department of Industrial Engineering in İstanbul, Turkey. He received his PhD in MIS from Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, USA (2003).
Aksen has 23 articles on operational research and internet as well as a reference book published by Bogazici University Press. 12 of these works are articles published on refereed journals in Scientific Reference Index. According to SciVerse Scopus database that scans international refereed literature, over 125 references have been made to Deniz Aksen as of July 2012.
