Asım Evren Yantaç delivers courses on visual thinking, information design and architecture at Koç University Executive Education Programs. Yantaç is an interactive media design researcher and educator graduated from Yıldız Teknik University Interactive Media Design (1999-2003). He holds a BA and a Ph.D in Art and Design (2003-2009). After working as a reseacher in Yıldız Teknik University, he continued his post-doc research in Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg-Sweden). After having a work experience in Tangible Interaction Laboratory (T2I Lab) he became an Assistant Professor of Media and Visual Arts at Koç University .Asım Evren is the manager “Interactive Information Design Research Group” which is founded by Oguzhan Özcan. He carries out research activities in;"Information visualization in interactive media", "Ocation and data visualization based on time", "Interface design for the blind and environment" , and "Augmented / mediated interface design to reality". His doctoral research was about the sailboat navigation and tactical augmented reality technology. This research was assisted by TUBITAK(2009). In 2012 we worked with TUBİTAK again for his research which aims to facilitate the daily lives of autistic individuals.
